My journey began in 2007 at York University, where my pursuit of health fitness was kick started in the Kinesiology and Health Science Program. Through a variety of courses and experiences, supported by an exceptional faculty, I graduated with Honours in 2011.
From there, I was accepted into the Master of Science Degree in Physical Therapy at Queen's University, and began my studies that same year. Through a variety of clinical rotations, I developed skills within both the hospital and clinic settings. My rotations included Intensive Care Units, Short Stay Unit, Stroke Unit and Pain/Orthopedic Clinical settings.
After graduating from Queens University, my studies continued through the Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine, completing a Diploma in Acupuncture and Dry Needling in 2016. During my studies, I was privileged to have my first child, and as a parent, my thirst to be better and continue my educational studies was further ignited.
During the summer of 2016 I began an 18 month journey to complete my Doctorate in Musculoskeletal Physical Therapy, in conjunction with a Manual Therapy Certificate.
Looking ahead, I continue to enhance my knowledge and skills through continuing education courses and regular research into topics relevant to my practice.
